Our DH report from Lenzerheide is unfortunately very short. We’re having great time here in the Swiss Alps and can only praise organizers for their great job. But the result is not what we wanted.
We only had Žak on the DH race; Jure is injured and had to stay back home. Žak was very motivated to perform great, additional motivation boost came from the very solid results in Maribor and Val di Sole.
This time around the race ended in the qualifications. Big mistake on the top and a short trip behind the tape… and it was game over. In such a competitive field there is no room for mistakes like this.
We had to make the best of it, so Žak used an extra day for additional testing. It’s now time to pack and get ready for the last two rounds in Snowshoe!
