Great race run and well deserved top spot for Oli on the world cup race in Italy!
Oli was hungry for another top result and came to Val di Sole with the clear objective – to do good on the race day! We can say mission accomplished, but for sure it wasn’t easy. The conditions on the race were changing throughout three days of riding, qualifications went OK, but far from perfect, the competition is always breathing down your neck. There was also a pressure of not qualifying in Poland and Austria.
Oli handled everything in like-a-boss manner, was solid on the track and showed the most on the very last run. His best part was at the bottom, which tells a lot about his talent.
Oli was 6th behind the race winner Max Alran, he’s now 13th in the overall standings.
Aimi is still making her way back to the top form, but she will need more time to get to where she wants to be. She will use time till the next race for more practice and we’re sure hard work will pay off.
Special credit from Italy goes to Uncrafted for making new kits for our riders. Red storm look sick, it will look even better on proper sunny days!
