Vid takes P27 on the last round of the enduro World Series

Race weekend in Loudenvielle is again proving to be a hard one. Lots of rain, challenging conditions on the track and changes in the schedule are the main topics of the weekend. But the harder it gets, the better Vid rides and so he took his second best result of the season!

Five stages were scheduled for the final round of the enduro World Series, but due to the strong winds stage three was cancelled. Vid started with a bang – he was 21st on stage one and 20th on stage two. At the time he was 21st overall. He was just behind top-30 on stage three, but really lost time on the last run of the day. Still a very good race day!

Vid Peršak: “Race day was really long, despite the cancellation of the third stage. It was raining pretty much all day long, the conditions on the track changed all the time. I had a really good start of the day, first two stages went great. They were hard and in sketchy conditions, but my runs were smooth and without mistakes. After that we had a big break due to the stage cancellation. Next stage was OK, but the last one not so much. By the time it started I was very cold, and didn’t attack in the proper rhythm. I lost seconds there that would take me to the better final position. I’m still very happy with my race, I was where I should be throughout the season, battling for top-30 places. It was a great day, big thanks to go my team that gave my proper support in these harsh conditions!”

Vid’s best result of the season was 25th place on the first round of the World Series in Finale Ligure. Today he finished in 27th that took him to 32nd place overall.
