Leogang DH: strong attack, but no glory
Downhill racing in Leogang again proved to be a challenging, heavy rain after the track walk day made conditions on the track brutal. Jure & Žak don’t mind these kind of muddy and hard conditions, but you also need some luck for success on the day like this.
Jure & Žak were all out of luck, despite conditions on the qualies being somewhat better than on the first day of practice. But still both hit the ground and lost too much time for finals. They attacked and give their best, this is everything we could ask for on a day like this.
World Cup season is not going according to plans, but they again and again show that they have the speed, they just need some luck to make it work on the biggest races.
